Meet Ashur Shiba, the Founder of Shiba Mechanical! Ashur's mechanical career began 23 years ago as an apprentice at the 67 union under the mentorship of his boxing coach Vinnie Ryan. His guidance not only honed Ashur's technical skills but also instilled the values of hard work and dedication. The values that continue to drive Shiba Mechanical as a business today.

In Ashur's personal life he is blessed with a wonderful family. His wife Sally and their 5 beautiful children are the heart and sole of Ashur's life. Their love and support drive Ashur's commitment to excellence, and are the backbone of Shiba Mechanicals success.

George started his plumbing career 16 years ago at Varan Mechanical, mentored by Ashur Shiba, who would go on to found Shiba Mechanical. Together, they devoted their evenings to building what has now become a renowned company known for its exceptional service. George is proud to have played a key role in the development and success of Shiba Mechanical from its very inception.

Jessica earned her degree in Executive Administration from Mohawk College and has expanded her expertise through courses in medical terminology, accounting, and QuickBooks. With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, she joined Shiba Mechanical in 2020 as a project coordinator. Outside of work, Jessica is dedicated to her two teenage daughters, keeping busy with their activities and needs.

Isho Shiba, a former five-time Canadian amateur boxing champion, entered the plumbing industry over 20 years ago under the guidance of his late boxing coach and seasoned mechanical contractor, Vinnie Ryan of Varan Mechanical. For the past 12 years, Isho has been a key member of Shiba Mechanical, serving as a plumbing journeyman and foreman, leveraging his discipline and leadership skills honed in the boxing ring to excel in his current role.

Sukki, our HVAC Operations Manager at Shiba Mechanical, graduated with a BA in 1997. After working for an international trading company, and a financial adviser until 2002, he started his career in construction as a home renovator before specializing in HVAC building systems automation. With licenses in Gas Tech 2 and Sheet Metal, Soukki joined us in 2014. He's a proud father of two, both currently attending university.

Brian is a Red Seal Endorsed 308A Sheet Metal Worker with over 30 years of diverse trade experience. He has successfully managed and completed projects of various sizes. Specializing in project management, Brian ensures all jobs are completed on time and within budget. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.

Diana, our Chief Estimator and Project Manager at Shiba Mechanical, brings over 40 years of experience in sheet metal and plumbing/heating estimation. With a strong background in diverse projects, Diana has honed her skills in estimating, project management, purchasing, sales, and HVAC design. Notably, she successfully bid on a $42 million sheet metal project! Passionate about her community, Diana volunteers as a timekeeper for the Ontario Boxing Association and at her local food bank. She also enjoys gardening in her spare time.

Pamela is our Administration Manager at Shiba Mechanical. She graduated from New Brunswick Business College with a Business/Bookkeeper Diploma. With 32 years of professional experience, she has been a top salesperson in retail for over 8 years and excelled in collections within an oil company. Pamela loves challenges and now manages our Accounting Team, finding great happiness and true success in her role.
